Tremendous 5" x 7 7/8" photo depicting rival Hall of Famers Johnny Evers and Eddie Plank shaking hands on the field ostensibly before a game. Evers and Plank's names are written in pencil within a white border beneath the photo which otherwise appears in excellent condition with some very minor wrinkling and surface abrasions none of which interfere with the visual appeal of the photo. The reverse exhibits some editiorial stamping and markings along with the PSA/DNA decal verifying authenticity as a Type 1 photo. An outstanding example a fine image of two players who always seem to make interesting photographic subjects.
