Exceptional 1920 real photo postcard featuring then-presidential candidate Warren G. Harding with members of the Chicago Cubs including Grover Cleveland Alexander. The Cubs were in Harding's hometown of Marion Ohio to play an exhibition against a local semipro team on September 2 of 1920 and posed for a panoramic photo with the team. Pictured here amongst the players in a more candid shot the future president chats with various players from the ballclub. Graded AUTH by SGC the primary condition flaw lies in paper remnants on the reverse from scrapbook removal.
