Lot Description  

Exceptional horizontal N172 of Hall of Famer John Montgomery Ward pose #478-8 in the N172 issue according to The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin and Company. Graded EX 60 by SGC a truly outstanding card with light corner rounding and soiling detracting slightly from the technical grade the image quality of ward posed as if diving to a base. Lightly soiled with age this is a wonderful example of an N172 Hall of Famer one of the most popular and important figures in his era.
