Very scarce supplement from a set related to the 1909 Minneapolis Millers as issued in the Minneapolis Tribune. As of today just a dozen subjects are known (though there are likely more). Measuring approximately 4 1/2" x 10" the supplements feature large full-body player photos and facsimile signatures with blank backs. This example of Ollie Pickering is in VG condition with some wear at the corners and edges but no noticeable creases or significant dings. Given its rarity size and the thin paper on which is was printed the fact that the card has been preserved in this shape is noteworthy. An interesting and scarce type card of a well-known prewar player.
