Pair of vintage Pittsburgh Pirates official scorecards from 1923 and 1925 each featuring future Hall of Famer Barney Dreyfuss on the cover. Collection includes the following: 1) 1923 Official Scorecard: Featuring the lineups of the Pirates and the New York Giants though the game is not scored. The scorecard is in poor condition repaired along the spine and back cover with clear tape significant tearing and wear around all four edges. The piece has been folded down the middle though the piece lays flat from age. Some pencil markings appear inside on the scorecard pages. 2) 1925 Official Scorecard: Scored game between the Pirates and Dodgers from June 19 1925. The Pirates beat the Dodgers 9-6 behind a complete game effort from Lee Meadows. The scorecard is intact though some age-related discoloration and slight tearing is evident. Player photos are scattered throughout including Pie Traynor Bill McKechnie and Kiki Cuyler along with an ad for Honus Wagner's sporting goods store. Two attractive scorecards from 1920s Pirates teams.
