Outstanding 1949 Bowman complete set assembled card-by-card over the period of years by a dedicated collector in the pre-internet era when building a set like this was legitimately challenging. Adding to the challenge is the fact that the set is remarkably consistent in condition - each card does exhibit some wear and handling but each presents well. Definitely a collector-grade set this is not what we would call a "lower-grade" set in that despite the lower technical grades the cards each present strongly with few exhibiting the kind of wear that we would call distracting. A condition breakdown of the set would be 10% EX or better 24% VG/EX 32% VG 19% GOOD 10% FAIR and 5% lesser with a few trimmed included in that group.
