Interesting piece cut from a large broadside advertising poster for the Negro National League that featured images of six teams from the league. This piece was trimmed away from the broadside down to a size of just under 4 1/2" x 6" featuring a composite image of the 1935 Brooklyn Eagles. Though the players themselves are not identified on the piece the photos include those of Hall of Famers Leon Day and Ben Taylor. Double Duty Radcliffe also played several games with the 1935 team though we do not believe he is pictured in this image. Authenticated and encapsulted by BGS the reverse is blank. An excellent way to obtain period images of Hall of Famers from the Negro Leagues.
