Unusual pair of team-issued premiums one each of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Printed on semi-glossy lightweight 8 1/2" x 11" paper the premiums were at one point folded into thirds (presumably to be inserted into an envelope for mailing) and thus retain the markings from said folding. Each premium includes a large-format photo of the player likely taken on a spring training ballfield with biographical information on the reverse likely dating the piece to 1962. After an appeal to the hobby collector Dan Bretta's research uncovered a Yankees fan club that supplied supplements with the "Yank" newsletter very likely the source of these premiums. Thanks Dan!
