Spectacular Wilson brand tin (we believe) trophy measuring a full 22" to the top a functioning cup with a removable lid atop which is purchased a figural baseball player in the act of throwing. A baseball motif is present at the bottom of the cup as well in the form of three crossed bats and a baseball. Awarded to the Spokane United Railway team for the championship of the 1932 Spokane League. The cup is in outstanding condition the metal clean and reflective despite the presence of minor spots of tarnish that could certainly be cleaned. Without any point of reference the figural ballplayer appears to be leaning forward in an awkward manner but the figure is sturdily affixed to the cup lid with little sign of potential breaking or coming loose. Overall an outstanding vintage trophy custom engraved and presented to the champion team of the 1932 Spokane league.
