I have one to sell!
Extremely appealing Pinkerton cabinet of Phillies first baseman Fred Luderus a third-string first baseman with the Cubs who was traded to Philadelphia in mid-1910. The trade turned out to be a stroke of luck for Luderus who wound up beating out Kitty Bransfield for the starting position. In 1911 Luderus went on a home run tear and finished the season with 16. He remained the Phillies starting first baseman through 1919. The cabinet has been graded VG 40 by SGC largely due to corner wear to the mount. The photo itself appears in EX condition meaning the mount has done its job for more than a century protecting the photo from excessive damage and destruction. A tremendous piece from a popular and enduring cabinet card issue.
