Exceptional postcard produced by the Block Brothers Studio featuring Hall of Famers Rabbit Maranville Jesse Haines Grover Cleveland Alexander Jim Bottomley Frankie Frisch Chick Hafey and manager Bill McKechnie. In 1928 the Cardinals led the National League with a 95-59 record but were swept by the Yankees in the World Series. The postcard is relatively common but never in high grade. In fact this is one of just two examples to have attained a grade of NM 7 with none higher. A stellar image with virtually no wear some light corner touches the only real flaw to the card.
