Tom Tennant made his Major League debut on April 18 1912 as a pinch hitter on the wrong end of a St. Louis Browns 12-7 loss to the Chicago White Sox. Three days later he pinch hit again. That was the end of his Major League career - two plate appearances no hits one run scored. His minor league career was significantly longer - 12 seasons at various levels including three with the San Francisco Seals with whom he is pictured on this E100 Bishop Type 1 card. Graded FAIR 20 by SGC the card suffers from creasing and surface abrasions along with corner wear consistent with the grade. Still a very scarce issue of a major league footnote.
