Moderate staining chipping and areas of discoloration on the reverse of this wonderful card of Hall of Famer John Montgomery Ward are the primary causes of the lower technical assessment. Otherwise the card does bost an EX or even better appearance. Chipping on the edges is typical with this set as the cards are constructed of heavier board and a close inspection will reveal the edge chipping is prevalent on this card. Still a very desirable card one of the keys to the set quite affordable despite the outstanding appearance.
