Issued between 1910 and 1912 the P2 Sweet Caporal set includes 152 players and many variations making quite the challenge for even the most persistent collectors. Measuring at 7/8 inch in diameter these pins feature excellent black and white images of the most popular baseball players of the era and borrow most images from the T205 tobacco set. Graded “near mint” by PSA this bold P2 shows legendary Hall of Fame pitcher Christy Mathewson in his iconic portrait that was also used in the T205 set. True to its grade this sample shows no major flaws and only minor hints of wear.
