Issued between 1910 and 1912 the P2 Sweet Caporal set includes 152 players and many variations making quite the challenge for even the most persistent collectors. Measuring at 7/8 inch in diameter these pins feature excellent black and white images of the most popular baseball players of the era and borrow most images from the T205 tobacco set. Directly borrowing Mathewson’s iconic T205 image this P2 Sweet Caporal pin of the Hall of Fame pitcher is in “excellent – mint” condition. This sample features a “near – mint” front and shows only minor wear to its reverse.
