One of the more condition-sensitive of the 1960s Topps nonsports issues the 1964 Outer Limits set is subject to chipping along the black borders of the cards. The result is that card alterations are prevalent with the set as unscrupulous sellers are inclined to attempt to recolor the chipped areas with black. For this reason collectors who are interested in this set are more inclined to pursue graded examples resulting in strong demand and high prices. Offered here is a higher-grade complete graded set ranked #14 on the PSA Set Registry. The great majority of the cards are graded EX-MT 6 which can only be considered high-grade for this issue.
