Rare and attractive grouping of six Spanish-language lobby cards from the 1950 film The Jackie Robinson Story. The 11x14" cards are printed on heavy cardboard with a 7.75" x 9.75" original Type 1 photo affixed to each of the six cards. The Spanish language cards were manufactured for the Cuban release. It is suggested that a complete set of lobby cards comprises eight pieces; a grouping this large seldom make themselves available in the hobby. Each of the cards exhibit some minor wear soiling and foxing though the Type 1 photos attached to each card largely appear in EX condition. A significant collection of memorabilia that touches not only on the desirability of Jackie Robinson-related items but also of Cuban baseball-related items as well.
