Clean 1930 team scorecard for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Just one season removed from its second-place 1929 finish the 1930 team finished under .500 in fifth place in the 8-team league. Future Hall of Famers Pie Traynor Lloyd Waner and Paul Waner graced the lineup but the team was simply not strong enough to put up much of a fight against the tough competition in the NL. The scorecard which is in apparent VG/EX condition with some minor soiling and wear throughout features several photos of owner Barney Dreyfus and as was the case with scorecards of the era does include various photos of team members scattered throughout. Vintage scorecards are becoming increasingly collectible as their novelty and scarcity becomes known to more hobbyists; this is an exceptional example.
