Produced by the National Chicle company between 1934 and 1936 the Batter-Up series is a vastly underappreciated set often overshadowed by those sets produced by Goudey. This sample features Hall of Fame member Joe Cronin and is a very tough high number in the series. Designated to be in “good +” condition due to a stain on the card’s reverse this sample retains excellent eye appeal and sports a truly great image of Cronin just finishing his powerful swing.
