1936 Ticket Stub for Olympic Tryouts at Randall's Island Stadium on July 12 1936. Jesse Owens won three events at the trials tying the world record for 200 meters around a curve and Harold Manning set an unofficial record in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Owens also won the 100 and 200 meters. The stub is awkwardly torn at the center but is otherwise in VG/EX condition with some minor wear at the edges and corners. All the relevant details about the event are visible on the stub. The reverse is clean. An outstanding ticket just a few weeks before Jesse Owens' legendary performance in the Summer Olympics in Germany.
