Attractive Yankee Stadium bleacher ticket proof to Game 2 of the 1943 World Series. The game in question was the only game won by the St. Louis Cardinals in the series behind a masterful complete game performance by Mort Cooper who scattered six hits and one walk in the 4-3 Cardinals win. The ticket itself appears in outstanding condition but ultimately carries a low technical grade due to the rough cut top edge and the hole punches on the ticket itself. The lack of a seat number prohibits us from calling this an actual ticket as opposed to a proof or sample but the piece is beautiful nonetheless an authentic period ticket simply created before final production for review and approval.
