One of a host of ticket stubs to NFL championship football games featured in this auction part of a large grouping that we have elected to break into individual lots. 1967 NFL Championship ticket stub the game between the Packers and the Dallas Cowboys more commonly known as the "Ice Bowl." Considered one of the greatest games in NFL history the Packers won the game 21-17 at Lambeau Field in temperatures of -15 degrees with wind chills around -48. At the beginning of the game Lambeau's turf-heating system malfunctioned leaving moisture on the field that froze in the cold becoming worse as the day got older and more of the field was covered in shadow. The ticket stub is in poor condition irregularly torn at the center with significant creasing and soft corners and edges. The color is strong despite some minor paper loss at the bottom edge. Ticket price for the game was $12.00. It is still cold.
