Our summer 2017 auction included a 1963 World Series plaque that contained this image. At the time we were unable to identify the plaque and a fellow hobbyist advised us at the National that the piece was actually a premium given out by the Dodgers at the Stadium during the World Series. His assertion was that the plaque was actually that premium shellacked to a wooden plaque by a Dodgers fan in the 1960s. Within a few hours he had scoured the show floor and purchased this premium - proving his assertion and enabling us to withdraw the plaque before we passed misinformation through the hobby. The hobbyist then consigned the piece to us so that we could sell the piece in its original form in this auction. This example is in VG/EX condition measuring approximately 8 1/2" x 11" a full-color composite image on the front the reverse containing facsimile autographs of the players.
