Lot Description  

Attractive Mickey Mantle Day program from 1965 an odd day at Yankee Stadium held in Mantle's honor because the 33-year-old slugger was feared by Yankees Management to be nearing the end of his playing days. Ultimately Mantle played three more seasons earning a second Mickey Mantle Day in 1969. This program has been signed in blue fiber tip marker by Mantle on the cover and presents extremely well with some minor very slight smudging. An exceptional piece.
