Three beautiful display-worthy publications as signed by the Duke of Flatbush Duke Snider (HOF). Snider was the third player in the classic argument about the quality of New York"s three centerfielders (Willie Mays Mickey Mantle and Snider). These three issues of Sport capture Snider at various phases of his career. Included in this collection are the following:1) September 1955: Well-worn cover with multiple tears and folds on the right edge a well broken-in spine several folds down the middle and an ink mark on the cover in the shape of a "P " Snider autographed the cover in bold blue Sharpie across the middle of the cover in somewhat shaky hand. 2) September 1957: Beautiful display value featuring a close-up of Snider still in his Brooklyn cap despite the team having played its last game there the cover itself is well-worn with many wrinkles and a large corner crease along with overall wear throughout. Despite this the display value of this publication is outstanding; matted and framed it would make for an incredible display. 3) April 1960: Snider signs across his chest on this issue labeling him the "old pro." As with many magazines of this age the right edge is frayed with multiple tears and there is wear at the spine from use. However the overall display quality is very strong.Three beautiful vintage publications each boasting bold vivid signatures of one of the greatest and most beloved players in Dodgers history.
