Attractive 1905 comic produced in Joseph Pulitzer's New York World newspaper in the Sunday comics section. The strip features "Tim and Tom - the Terrible Twins " being forced to practice piano and violin by their parents. Instead of practicing they fire up a Victrola and go outside to play baseball only to have their parents catch on - and beat the two children with clubs when they sneak in through the window. Child abuse notwithstanding an interesting and colorful display featuring early baseball imagery. The tabloid-sized piece is in fair condition with significant edge wear and the type of toning found on old newspapers along with a typical fold in the center. Still an excellent vintage baseball-related display.
