Fantastic collection of National League Green Books a complete run from 1937 through 2001 totaling 65 books. Produced for many years for press and media personnel each year's book contained information about each team to be used as a quick handy reference during sports broadcasts. Rosters and pronunciations team records and important contact information. The Green Books were produced each year until 2009 when they were discontinued because the information is now all available electronically. This collection was assembled by a broadcast industry professional many of the books acquired during his career and the remainder sourced one at a time to complete the run. Mostly displaying in excellent condition the spiral-bound books have been used so there is wear evident on the pages particularly of the older editions. The cover artwork on each is lovely with most years' artwork somehow relating to a player event or trend in the league. Sixty-five Green Books are considerably heavy so the winning bidder should expect that shipping costs would be heavy. Still the wealth of information that these books provide is well worth the price as 65 years of individual National League data is simply priceless.
