One of the more odd baseball advertising pieces we have seen featuring an early 1950s photo of the person who coined the phrase "Nice guys finish last" smiling wearing a dapper jacket shirt and ascot the phrase "Put a smile in your smoking...like Leo Durocher" encircling him - and not a trace of smoke in the picture despite his holding what appears to be a lit cigarette (and the pinky ring!). Measuring 21" x 22" the piece has been mounted to a cardboard backing though it appears that the mounting could easily be removed. In FAIR condition the piece is marked with corner and edge wear surface blemishes a large indentation at the top edge and some sort of erased pencil drawing at the upper-right. Still an interesting baseball-related tobacco piece from the 1950s featuring the happy face of a generally surly guy.
