Incredible Gillette "World Series Special" Razor in its original packaging. Issued in conjunction with the 1940 Series the slide-and-shell box boasts gorgeous full-color packaging featuring the likenesses of Johnny Mize Red Rolfe Benny McCoy Pepper Martin and Bucky Walters. The box measures 3 3/4" x 2" x 1 1/4" the outer shell in outstanding condition. The inner box flaps have torn but the box is still intact the razor and blades still appear unused and in mint condition. Though vintage Gillette razors are plentiful we have seen few examples of this piece particularly in its original packaging in such outstanding condition.
