Incorrectly identified in our catalog as being by Malcom Emmons this gorgeous Type I photo by heralded 1950s photographer Don Wingfield picturing a young and eager Mickey Mantle posed with Dodgers team leader and future Hall of Famer Pee Wee Reese. The beautiful 5" x 7" photo is in EX/MT condition simply perfect save for some minor edge and corner wear. The image quality itself is superb crisp and clear with fantastic contrast. The Wingfield stamps are evident on the reverse. A beautiful photo.
