Probably our favorite of the caramel issues the E103 Williams Caramel cards are extraordinarily condition-sensitive due to being printed on extremely lightweight paper. The majority are found in low grade with significant creases stains and even paper loss. Yet the cards are beautiful with sharp-looking portrait images set against a deep red background and an elegant typeface providing player name and team information along the bottom border. Presented is a beautiful example featuring Hall of Fame catcher Roger Bresnahan exceptional for the grade a crease traversing the bottom third of the card being the primary technical issue with the card. While the crease renders the card's technical grade accurate the eye appeal is quite strong within the grade.
