As mentioned in the description of several other lots in this auction we have been fortunate enough to break up a substantial collection of 1933 Goudeys accumulated over time by a quality-conscious collector in the New England area. The cards varying in grade from VG to EX/MT are remarkably consistent largely because our consignor built his collection patiently card by card acquiring only such cards that met his exacting standards.Presented here is such a group each graded VG/EX+ 4.5 by PSA each meeting the technical standards for the grade but boasting the extra "something" required to propel it to a half point grade "bump." Such bumps are typically the result of exceptional eye appeal centering color and the like and each of these cards exhibits such strength.
