Considered by some to be one of the set's known scarcities. Particularly in higher grade Matesic cards are simply in shorter supply than most of the other low-number cards in the set. Just nine examples have attained this grade level with none higher this particular example is clean and well-centered with mildly-touched corners and some very slight surface toning. Matesic starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1936 had a very brief career resulting in this being his only football card despite several other mid-1930s football issues being available. A strong example of a very difficult card.
