While the triple-printed 1958 Topps Mickey Mantle AS card is perhaps the most common mainstream Mantle the poor Topps quality control was no more forgving with this card than with any others from the era; print dust poor centering fish eyes and registration problems plague the entire Sport Magazine All-Star subset. This example graded NM-MT 8 by PSA is exceptionally well-centered with strong crisp color and registration. Two small fish eyes are visible in the red background outside the image area of the card. Despite the plentiful nature of this card this is an exceptional specimen.
