Incredibly rare 1896-97 Whitehead & Hoag "On Time Starch" pinback recently popularized due to a large find of 85 different players which increased the number of known examples significantly (previously just a few dozen examples were known). This ungraded example depicts Joe Harrington and is in VG to VG/EX condition and was not a part of the recent find. In fact this pinback has been in our possession for the better part of a year moving to our new office location and getting packed away missing several auctions (our apologies to a very patient consignor). Despite the dramatic increase in known examples we feel that the "Omaha Find" advertised in that auction simply raised the profile of this amazing issue and did not dramatically decrease its rarity since the group was purchased together for an astonishing amount and is likely to remain that way. The player image on the pinback is somewhat faded though still clearly visible as is the player information and the advertisement on the inside of the pinback. An exceptional find.
