Collection of two souvenir postcards featuring the Commerce Comet Mickey Mantle. The first from Mickey Mantle"s Holiday Inn in Joplin MO features Mantle in his batting stance a facsimile signature underneath. Postally used the card is postmarked from Joplin in July of 1958. The condition is obviously poor with writing and postal use along with signs of postal use on the front but the card is still an exceptional quality piece.The second postcard is from the Stadium Souvenir Shops at Yankee Stadium also dates to the 1960s. Featuring a smiling Mantle on the front this unused postcard grades approximately FAIR due to a significant crease across the face. Overall eye appeal is strong however with sharp corners and a clean image and no writing on the reverse.
