Strong example of the 1955 Exhibit "postcard back" Mickey Mantle. In 1955 the 64 Exhibit cards issued that year were issued in very limited quantities with postcard backs as opposed to the typical blank backs. This example of the key player in virtually any 1950s set presents extremely well on the surface with strong edges and EX corners. The price of $15 is written in pencil on the reverse near the postage indicia and there are a few small specs of paper pulls in the lower-right corner. Moderate toning related to age does not impact the card"s eye appeal.A difficult card of one of the most widely-collected players in the hobby.
