Two key Hall of Famers from the tough "postcard back" Exhibit series issued in 1955. The 64 cards in this "set " which appear identical on the front to the 1947-66 series Exhibits were issued in 1955 in very limited quantities with postcard backs. They are much more difficult to find than the traditional blank backed Exhibit cards issued during the 1947-66 period.The collection includes Yogi Berra (HOF) a strong card which appears EX to EX-MT on the front but is marred by back damage from paper pulls on the reverse along with the light pencil marking of "12.00" above the "Post Card" graphic. Also included is Stan Musial (HOF) a card that appears VG on the front due to light corner and surface wear and has a strong clean reverse with "12-" written in pencil very lightly near the indicia.Exhibits are great because they feature outstanding photos of key players from throughout baseball history are produced on heavy stock that is less susceptible to wear than traditional cards and they offer a host of variations and scarce subsets that make them a challenge to collect. This is a pair of popular Hall of Famers that are much more scarce than the traditional issue an outstanding opportunity to acquire two tougher cards with excellent eye appeal.
