The E103 William’s Caramel baseball card set is both extremely popular and scarce and this gorgeous card of Hall of Fame member Christy Mathewson is one of the top three cards in the set next to only Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. Featuring a great stoic portrait of the legendary pitcher this card is in “very-good” condition with general wear that is consistent with its technical grade including some minor staining corner rounding and a wrinkle in its left border. None of this wear impacts Mathewson’s iconic portrait nor the cards gorgeous brick red background. Overall this is a very strong sample from the set and a great combination of scarcity and player selection.
