High-grade example of the Johnny Evers "Chicago" card graded NM+ 7.5 by GAI. Though the card boasts outstanding visual appeal with sharp corners and a clean surface our policy with any GAI-graded card of value is to submit it for regrading with either PSA or SGC. In this case we submitted the card in the holder to SGC with a minimum grade requirement of NM 84 and the card was returned to us as not meeting the minimum grade. We will assume that there is a light trim to the top edge; the "bat wings" at the top corners would be an indicator of that. Regardless the card is a tremendous example of what appears to be a very high grade Hall of Famer.
