Beautiful 8-page program and scorecard for the 1896 Baltimore Orioles featuring manager (and future Hall of Famer) Ned Hanlon on the cover. Measuring 5 7/8" x 9" folded the interior scorecard features a game between Baltimore and Brooklyn that unfortunately has only been scored for the first 2 1/2 innings. The Baltimore lineup features eventual Hall of Famers Keeler Jennings Kelley and Robinson while the Bridegrooms lineup features Tommy McCarthy Candy LaChance Tom Daly and pitcher Brickyard Kennedy. Well-worn but with strong display characteristics the technical grade would probably be FAIR at best and yet it is still quite a desirable and attractive piece.
