I have one to sell!
Produced by the Philadelphia Caramel Co. of Camden NJ the E96 set is largely considered a continuation of the E95 issue of 1909. Containing 30 subjects cards from the issue are difficult to obtain in top condition due partially to being produced on delicate stock. Containing a combination of portrait and "action" shots the colorful subjects are set against rich backgrounds giving more visual depth than the typical caramel card.Presented is a collection of ten cards from the issue representing one-third of the set. Included are Hall of Famers Three-Finger Brown (SGC FAIR 20) and Hughie Jennings (SGC POOR 10) along with Babe Adams (SGC GOOD+ 35) Chief Meyers (SGC GOOD 30) Bill Donovan (SGC GOOD+ 35) Ed Konetchy (SGC GOOD 30) Ed Karger (SGC POOR 10) George McQuillan (Fair) Nap Rucker (Poor) and Red Dooin (Poor). Each of the cards presents well but is marred by one or more serious condition flaws be it heavy creasing ink marks or other staining. However this is an excellent start to a lower-grade set. From the "Full Count Find."
