Exceptional pocket schedule measuring 2 5/8" x 4 1/2" produced by the Pittsburgh Post to chronicle the 1888 season. The 44-page booklet contains the entire schedule for all the teams along with spaces in which to write the actual game scores (which was done by its owner through May 21 then again for a few games in August. The back pages contain the teams' 1887 records along with 1888 "officers and signed players" of each team. The outer cover is constructed of heavier stock and has done an excellent job protecting the interior pages all of which are still intact as the original string binding. A beautiful piece.
