I have one to sell!
Something about the bold coloring of red-background T206s makes them so attractive that they"re tough to surpass in terms of overall baseball card aesthetics. This one is no exception with an interesting pose of GIants outfielder Harry "Moose" McCormick the upper half of his body leaning into the frame ostensibly to pick up a bouncing ball. McCormick hit .291 with the 1912 Giants but was known primarily for his pinch-hitting prowess - plus for being the "winning" run that scored in the Fred Merkle "boner" game; the run that was negated by Merkle failing to touch second base. An interesting footnote to baseball history.Population DataSGC Population: 86 total graded 1 at this level 0 higherPSA Population: 116 total graded 2 at this level 2 higher**Please note that PSA just recently began to differentiate between T206 back variations in their population reports so it is entirely possible that other examples of this card may have been graded by PSA and classified in their pop reports as "unknown back."
