An exceptionally crisp image with strong contrast graces this late 1800s specimen of the "Women Baseball Players" issue. Advertising Sub Rosa Cigarettes but closely resembling the N172 Old Judge issue this image is of "The Pitcher " a buxom woman in a tight-fitting baseball uniform poised to deliver the pitch. Graded VG 40 by SGC the primary flaws on this card are overall corner wear plus some mild markings and staining on the reverse. Despite this the image quality makes this an exceptional example of a unique issue.
