Lot Description  

Exceptional black and white postcard issue depicting members of the 1910 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. The Monarch Typewriter issue is particularly rare today; our recent sale of a damaged Chief Bender uncovered two more Monarch Typewriter cards for this auction; this Collins and an Eddie Plank found elsewhere in this auction. This example has been graded GOOD 30 by SGC due to staining and overall wear. An extremely rare postcard featuring one of three eventual Hall of Famers featured in the small set.
