Outstanding cabinet of the 1889 California League Champion Oakland Colonels. The cabinet features a number of players who also appeared in the Old Judge set (most notably Tip O'Neill the team captain who is pictured between "18" and "89"). Also pictures Vince Dailey George Stallings Will Smalley Lou Hardie Jim McDonald Dan Long Charles Dooley William Wehrle and Roscoe Coughlin along with the team manager last name Robinson. Cabinet is graded POOR 10 by SGC due largely to writing on the reverse compounded by edge chipping and overall wear but the image itself is clear with a slight fade. Regardless a cabinet photo like this is purchased less for reasons of condition more for scarcity and historical significance.
