Well-worn copy of the 1924 Columbia University Yearbook foil stamped with the name of Frank S. Hogan who would go on to become the New York City District Attorney. Hogan was not the book's most famous subject however as the interior pages include early photos of a young Lou Gehrig (who was an alternate on first base for the 1924 team just one season before clubbing 20 home runs as a member of the 1925 Yankees). Gehrig is pictured on the interior pages a famous full-body image of the first baseman in uniform appearing on page 278. The book itself presents more poorly than it actually is; the cover is extremely well-worn at the spine and edges but is otherwise in excellent shape.
