Matted and framed to 13 3/4" x 11 1/2" in what appears to be a modern frame this "Movie-Land Puzzle" depicts Babe Ruth and a "teammate " hamming it up for cameras. Movie-Land puzzles are considered scarce and material from the 1927 film even more so as it was not a box office success despite the popularity of its star. The puzzle has been completed but we cannot determine whether the puzzle has been secured with shellac. The puzzle appears to be in VG condition the individual pieces exhibiting wear around the edges. Still an extremely attractive and tough-to-find photographic document of Babe Ruth's feature film.
