I have one to sell!
For obvious reasons material related to the 1927 World Series is highly desirable; the great Yankees ballclub is typically considered the greatest ever the Yankees four-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates cementing the team's legend. This press ticket issued to longtime St. Louis baseball writer and editor James M. Gould admitted him to both games of the Series played in Pittsburgh's Forbes Field. The pass is fairly well-preserved some mild creasing and edge wear not interfering dramatically with the aesthetics of the piece. The reverse shows considerable evidence of scrapbook mounting with paper remnants still attached. Still an outstanding document of one of the greatest teams in history a press pass used just twice as the return to Pittsburgh for a Game 5 was not needed.
